The local High School in Lake City started a program this year related to "Trades" (flooring, electrical, plumbing, welding, etc) so students not attending college may have options in careers and life. They built a new classroom at the school using materials donated by Lowe's and others and utilizing student labor.
Lowe's asked Keller to partner with them on the flooring. Lowe's provided the flooring and Keller provided labor and consultation to the students. Keller taught them how to install and we spent a day teaching and coaching future Keller installers the flooring trade skill set. We provided pizza for the students and everyone had a great time.
